<p><em>Social support practices are changing due to the presence of social media. Offline social support is marked by physical presence, while the presence of online support is through comment interactions that occur, including regional heads who are exposed to COVID-19. This article aims to explain online social support in interactions through uploads and comments on Instagram. The concept used is online social interaction and support. This research applied digital ethnography methods with online participant observation data collection techniques. The subject studied was the Instagram account @bimaaryasugiarto. The research results show that online social support appears in uploading and commenting activities. These results also confirm the three types of support that occurred, namely, informational, experiential, and emotional support, along with the four factors in emerging social support. <p><em>This study explores the integral roles of interpersonal communication and behavior in enhancing work engagement within an organizational context, focusing on work motivation as a mediating factor. Grounded in Self-Determination Theory, the research emphasizes the importance of intrinsic motivation fostered by quality interpersonal relationships that enhance employee engagement and well-being. Conducted at the Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta Special Region Manpower and Transmigration Service), Indonesia, this quantitative study involved 100 employees and employed hierarchical regression analysis to examine the relationships among interpersonal communication, behavior, and work engagement. Findings indicate significant direct and mediated effects of interpersonal dynamics on work engagement, with interpersonal behavior particularly influential. The study underscores the complexity of work engagement dynamics and supports enhancing interpersonal communication and behavior in organizational settings to boost motivation and engagement. <p>A This study aims to investigate strategies used in Indonesian marriage counselling. How they engage in social penetration, encourages adversarial parties to be more forthcoming and produce stable exchanges. By gathering counseling cases at the Mawar Saron Church in Surabaya, the research was carried out utilizing qualitative research techniques. The theory that is applied is social penetration theory, which views self-disclosure as developing gradually. The findings of this study demonstrate that marriage therapy counselors place a high value on neutrality, dependability, and attentive listening. These three elements are used to ensure that counseling sessions go well and result in the best possible resolution for troubled couples.</p>Theodore SantosoCosmas Gatot Haryono

<p>The Niqab is clothing used to cover the face, at least to cover the nose and mouth. This research focuses on aspects of communication, both interpersonal and interpersonal communication, as well as communication events experienced by female students who wear the Niqab on campus and in other public spaces. This research also tries to reveal their experiences of mingling amid a heterogeneous society, especially female students in the city of Serang. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological research methods with four female informants. The theories used are social action theory and Alfred Shcutz's phenomenological theory as research references. In this research, it can be concluded that the symbolic meaning is the meaning of the Niqab for female students in the city of Serang who use it in their daily lives. In this research, this research aims to understand the symbolic meaning used by subjective actors for reasons including self-protection. Then there is the motive of using the Niqab as a form of social action. The motive itself has three parts, namely past, present, and future motives. <p><em>This research is titled “Hedonic Lifestyle as Identity of Banda Aceh’s Teenage Celebgrams (An Explanative Study the Impact of Accessing Celebgram’s Instagram Accounts). This research aims to determine the cause of Banda Aceh’s teenage celebgrams to refer the hedonic lifestyle as an identity and explain the process of the hedonic lifestyle became the identity of Banda Aceh teenage celebgrams. This research used a qualitative explanative method. The data collection techniques used in this research are semi-structural interview, non participant observation and documentation. This research focus on hedonic lifestyle as identity of Banda Aceh’s teenage celebgrams in adolescence according to the Department of Health starting from 17 to 25 years old. This research used Social Learning theory, that explains Banda Aceh’s teenage celebgrams learns and observes on other celebgrams hedonic lifestyle then made it as a role model then imitate it. The results of this research shows that one of the causes Banda Aceh’s teenage celebgrams lives hedonic lifestyle is because they had hedonic role models too. The reward in the form of self-satisfaction and pleasure as well as a positive response from the virtual environment, makes a teenage celebgrams in Banda Aceh committed to living a hedonic lifestyle. The hedonist lifestyle of a Banda Aceh teenager as an identity is seen through activities, interests and opinions.
